What food and drink should we offer? How many guests can we invite? When can guests check in? We have compiled information in alphabetical order that certainly answers a lot of questions you may have about your big day. And do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you are wondering about.
Arrival
Many of our bridal couples choose to come with their guests the night before the wedding party. On the day of arrival you have access to hotel rooms from 15.00 if no other agreement has been made. On the day of the event, you have access to your party room by appointment (at the earliest from 10.00).
Allergies and special diets
Are there vegetarians, vegans, pregnant women, allergy sufferers or religious eating habits among the guests? Of course we arrange menus for those guests who want special diets.
Bar
During your wedding party, our bar is open and staffed by our staff. The last order in the bar is at 01.30 and at 02.00 the mansion closes. Please note that it is not allowed to bring your own drink to our lounges.
Accommodation
We have 112 hotel rooms, of which 70 are double rooms and 42 are single rooms. Overnight guests have access to their rooms from 15.00:11.00 on the day of check-in (unless otherwise agreed). Breakfast is included in the house price. Check-out is at XNUMX:XNUMX and after that the hotel closes.
Table decorations
At weddings, we always set the table with light linen tablecloths, linen napkins and candles. You arrange the party room and table decorations yourself.
Table placement
The table location for the wedding dinner depends on the number of guests and your wishes. Together with the wedding coordinator, you decide which option suits you best. Table placement cards, maps and any party programs you order yourself.
Bridal bouquet
We are happy to arrange contacts with florists for bridal bouquets and flower decorations.
Wedding Planner
When you choose to get married at Aspenäs Herrgård, a 2-hour free consultation with our wedding coordinator Annika Johansson, who is a certified wedding coordinator through the Wedding Academy, is included. Together you plan your dream wedding based on your wishes. If you don't have a finished image, you create it together. Annika advises on suppliers that you can contact and ensures that you stay within your budget. She helps with suggestions for table placement, creates a driving schedule for the day and is happy to give tips and ideas about weddings, decorations and options. Annika is your safe hand through all choices, both small details and big decisions.
Drink
Our wedding package includes: 1 glass of sparkling wine, wine package with a glass for the starter, a glass for the main course with a refill. Other drinks such as avec for the coffee can be bought. If you want to upgrade the sparkling glass to champagne for a bridal bowl, this can be done.
Own food and drink
At weddings at Aspenäs Herrgård, you book our wedding package which includes food and drink. It is not allowed to bring your own drink as we have the alcohol rights. It is also not allowed to bring your own food with the exception of wedding cake.
Wedding/party venues
The manor's restaurant. Our beautiful mansion dining room with lake views is a beautiful place for the wedding dinner. There is room for up to 120 eating guests. The room can be refurnished for dancing in the evening.
The party tent is a beautiful place for the wedding dinner. The tent is beautiful white, with windows facing the lake, ceiling lighting and wooden floors. There is room for about 120 guests depending on the type of table and location you want. If you wish to rent the marquee, there is an additional cost of SEK 10.
The terrace and the garden. Our terrace has a lovely view of the large lawn that stretches all the way down to the lake. A perfect place for guests to raise a toast to the bride and groom. The manor's large garden and surrounding nature are wonderful settings for both wedding photography and activities such as games or walks.
The bar is located next to the manor restaurant inside the manor building. Here, our bartenders can serve everything from summery cocktails to different types of beer and wine.
The mansion houses several beautiful historic rooms. In the lounge upstairs there is a large balcony overlooking the lake, it is a popular place for the wedding couple to toast with the guests on the terrace below. The wedding cake is often served in the salon.
The manor's farmhouse: All hotel rooms are located in our four detached courtyards, which are located a few meters from the manor house. In the courtyards, in addition to hotel rooms, there are many seating areas for overnight guests to hang out on, such as sofa groups and a café area with tables and chairs.
Seaton's Bistro is the perfect place for an intimate wedding, here you will find the manor's wine cellar and our cozy pub.
Photography
Don't forget to capture your big day. We have many photographers we can recommend.
Hairdresser and make-up artist
We are happy to give our recommendations on hairdressers and make-up artists.
Guest list
In our premises there is room for 40-120 guests. In the manor restaurant there is room for up to 130 dining guests. In the marquee there is room for up to 120 dining guests. May - September we have a minimum of 90 guests, of which 75% of the guests are staying overnight.
You send the invitation to your wedding party to your guests yourself. Do not forget to set an OSA date well in advance so that you can notify us of any cost deviations and number of guests for the wedding dinner and overnight stay.
Menu
The package price includes a three-course wedding dinner from our menu. The package price also includes a tasting opportunity as you as a bridal couple get the opportunity to meet us on site and taste all dishes including recommended drinks. Then you choose which starter, main course and dessert you want for your wedding dinner.
Our kitchen with head chef Lars Nilsson carefully composes all menus with the best ingredients. We promise that regardless of your menu choice, your wedding dinner will be something exceptional.
Requests for special diets such as vegetarian diets or food allergies are of course arranged.
Music
Musical entertainment is an important part of the wedding party, it can move to tears during the wedding ceremony and be a memorable element during the wedding waltz. What suits you best, your own playlist, DJ, troubadour or live band? We are happy to tell you about our favorites as partners, and the request can go through us.

Service staff
Our wedding package includes serving staff who are available until the party in the restaurant dining room closes at 02.00
Cleaning
Our wedding package includes cleaning of the premises.
Season for weddings
We arrange wedding parties throughout the year. Contact us to hear about our available wedding dates.
Technical equipment
We are responsible for lending projectors and screens during the dinner. Other technical equipment is not included in the package price, but we are happy to help you rent the equipment you need, such as music system, speakers and lights for stage and dance floor.
Cake
We do not bake wedding cakes at the mansion, but are helpful with our best recommendations on suppliers.
Wedding ceremony: wedding with 90 guests
Choose for yourself whether you want to have your wedding in a beautiful place in nature, such as in the manor's garden or in our marquee (the marquee is only available when dinner is in the restaurant). If you wish to have a church wedding, there are several beautiful churches less than 20 minutes away. You book the wedding officiant yourself.
